The Meyra Optimus 2 RS comes as standard in 4MPH but upgrades are available to 6 MPH or 10 MPH (restricted to 8 MPH to conform with UK law) Manual or powered backrest, seat tilt and elevating legrests are all possible extra options.

This chair has a rear swing arm suspension (similar to a motorcycle) with a pair or rear coil over shock absorbers, powered rear steering system, a heavy duty pair of coil over shock absorbers at mid ships giving it 6 points of suspension! The back rest can be folded down to lay flat on the seat base, the weight bearing armrests are removable too making this a very compact but sturdy unit.

PLEASE NOTE This is an outdoor powerchair. It is not suitable for indoor use unless you have wide doorways! The Meyra Optimus2 RS can carry a max of 150KG passenger and an additional 10KG on the rear luggage rack if selected. A range of aprox 42 miles is possible with the largest battery option.

This superb powerchair takes some beating, it can climb and descend hills up to 18 degrees (18%), has a compact 1.2 mtr turning circle, it will drive over gravel, compacted sand, mud, woodland trails, on the beach compacted sand, festival showgrounds, fields, grass, cobbles, tarmac and can easily climb kerbs up to 115mm without a kerb climber.
