2, G. W. R. Wall Mounted'heavy Duty' Carriage Lamps Converted To Electric

  
A pair of brass G. Carriage lamps, that have been factory converted for use with electricity. Lamp holders (B15) to take a bulb up to 40 watt.

They are HEAVY DUTY compared with the average GWR lamps, having a cast brass backplate & a'bobbin' style support. The guage of brass is at least twice as thick as normal making them very sturdy.

They are both in good condition with no major damage, just some minor age related wear, & both glass shades are good with no cracks!! They have a deep natural patina, one is slightly deeper in colour as it was in an exposed location & the other was in an enclosed porch. I have not attempted to polish them in any way, but they would polish up a treat if you like your brass extra shiny. 35cm tall x 7cm wide x 9cm deep.
