ROMA / SHOPRIDER RENO ELITE. When I give an opinion on a scooter or chair, it's not the opinion of a salesman, it's the opinion of someone who uses and understands what it's like to use mobility scooters and powerchairs. I first started using mobility scooters about 11 years ago when I was diagnosed with M. About 3 years ago I'converted' to powerchairs.

I still use scooters now and then but my everyday rides are now powerchairs. For most uses I just prefer powerchairs. They have SO many advantages. The BIG one is manoeuvrability. Scooters are, putting it politely, a pain in the bottom in supermarkets and shops.

The endless 3 point turns and having to worry about running over other shoppers gets very tiring. Powerchairs however, are a delight for shopping. The ability to spin around in the length of the chair and to drive right up to a shelf or counter makes shopping a pleasure. Access is another issue, particularly important for people with leg or hip problems such as arthritis. With a scooter you have to get your legs past the tiller; with a powerchair you just get straight in. It's so much easier to transfer. Like scooters, powerchairs come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Putting it simply, the Reno Elite is my favourite small powerchair. It's the new updated version of my previous favourite, the Roma Reno 2. It's the best built, best designed and best finished. It is almost the perfect portable powerchair. It's also really good looking, compact enough to be used indoors and yet capable enough to be used outdoors too. The Reno is great to use and a breeze to dismantle. I can literally do it in under 20 seconds and reassembly is just as easy. The seat and riding position are really comfortable. The controls are easy to use.

It really is a great chair. This particular one is also in great condition and has clearly had hardly any use at all. I guarantee you'll be impressed with this great little powerchair.

This is a superb chair in exceptionally nice condition. You will struggle to find a better or lower miles example. A few examples of comments from customers are shown below. What an amazing customer service and excellent item thank you so much. Really pleased with the scooter...

If you live further away than 200 miles from Lancashire, contact me and I'll give you a price. You are also welcome to collect from our base which is in Mawdesley, Lancashire. I would rather do that than sell an unsuitable item to you. Mobility Scooters and Chairs come in a HUGE variety of different types and sizes and people do too, so matching one to the other requires knowledge and experience.
